Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)

ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) is a condition that often affects the eyes of premature infants. While many infants recover from ROP on their own, some require treatment or ophthalmic supervision. In some cases, untreated ROP can lead to blindness. Dr. Vredevoogd specializes in helping children with ROP and enjoys providing the best care possible for this condition.
